Rampa Platform is an activity promoted by the Made by Women Film Festival –Cine por Mujeres- , sponsored by the Institute for Women and for Equal Opportunities attached to the Ministry of Equality, and subsidized by the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
The first edition of the Festival took place from April 3 to 8, 2018 in 8 venues, in which 29 feature films were screened and workshops, conferences and master classes were held. The success of this edition guaranteed the continuity of the festival and allowed the preparation of the second edition.
The second edition of the Festival took place from March 25 to 31, 2019 in 10 venues where 40 feature films were screened, workshops, master classes, debates and an exhibition of 11 pieces of Virtual Reality were held.
The third edition of the festival was held between November 4 and 15, 2020, growing notably with a presence in 11 Madrid venues hosting more than 60 screenings, a channel of its own on FILMIN with 49 titles, the broadcast of 4 films at 8Madrid TV, conferences, round tables, presentations and debates with the audience.

The Festival is also co-directed by Carlota Álvarez Basso and Diego Mas Trelles.
Carlota Álvarez Basso, has been dedicated to cultural management for more than 27 years and has held management positions in different Spanish cultural institutions. She was the founder and director of the Film and Video Department of the Museo Nacional Centro Reina Sofía for 9 years. In the last decade she has been General Director of Planning and Evaluation of the Madrid City Council, where she wrote the PECAM 2013-2020 (Strategic Plan for Culture of the Madrid City Council). From January 2013 to December 2017 she was the director of Matadero Madrid, Centro de Promoción Contemporáneo. She currently works at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía and co-directs the Madrid Cine por Mujeres Film Festival
Currently Diego Mas Trelles is Head of Industry at the DocsBarcelona Festival. He has been the programming coordinator for the DocumentaMadrid festival and the Seville European Film Festival, as well as a programmer at DocsBarcelona, Ronda Film Festival, Salinadoc Festival/Italy, 4 Écrans/Paris and Punto de Vista/Pamplona. He has curated the following film exhibitions:
"Directed by Women"/They Create/Conde Duque Center/Institute for Women; "The indiscreet objective"/Patio Herreriano Museum; "Dalí and the Cinema" and "Cinema of the Antilles and the Caribbean"/Huelva Film Festival; "Finnish Documentary"/Cineteca and coordinator of catalogs on cinema and video art ("Video under the volcano"/Tenerife).
He has been a co-programmer of documentary film samples at FNAC, Casa de América, Casa Encendida, Círculo de Bellas Artes, Documenta04 and the Spanish Film Library. He is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Spain, the European Film Academy, the SGAE, SACD and SCAM.
